Trainer Peter Moody took the great Black Caviar to Sportingbet Park (Sandown) for a gallop this morning.
Moody told racingnetwork today he took her there for a “soft half mile gallop” which she handled very well.
“She just went for a soft half-mile gallop and I’m very happy with her right now,” he said.
Black Caviar easily won the jump-out.
The unbeaten world super-star is on track to have an exhibition gallop, with a mate, between races at Caulfield on February 2.
Moody has indicated the mare will be forward enough to gallop in front of the public in what would be her last public appearance at Caulfield.
Black Caviar is on target to resume in the Group 1 $500,000 Lightning Stakes (1000m) at Flemington on February 16.
She hasn’t raced since winning her 22nd consecutive race in the Group 1 Diamond Jubilee Stakes (1200m) at Royal Ascot in the UK last June.
