RACING Victoria has closed the book on tests taken from two horses trained by Danny O'Brien.
Swab samples taken from Kutchinsky, a winner at Flemington on Saturday, and The New Boy, which finished second, were cleared after analysis of their TCO2 levels.
Racing Victoria this afternoon issued a brief statement after the O'Brien horses were detained on course on Saturday and then further samples were taken from the horses back at the trainer's Flemington stables.
"The test results raised no concern for Racing Victoria (RV) stewards and the matter is now closed," read the RV statement."
"RV appreciates Danny O’Brien’s cooperation in this matter and a review of testing procedures on the day will be undertaken."
O'Brien congratulated, via a Tweet, the RV stewards for ramping up their testing of winners.
