BRAD Rawiller’s remarkable winning spree shows no sign of stopping.
Rawiller notched his 26th winner in the past month – November 12 to December 12 – when he partnered Finishing Card to win the KS Environmental Handicap today at Caulfield.
He’s ridden winners at 14 meetings and his streak of winners took him to within four wins of Dean Yendall who tops the Victorian premiership with 58 wins.
What makes the tally more impressive is the Rawiller endured a six meeting suspension during that period.
Rawiller noted his haul of winners was satisfying after a frustrating spring and was just a couple shy of his overall record for a month.
“It was a very tough October, start of November so it’s nice to put some wins on the board now,” Rawiller said.
Finishing Card, an $8 chance, fought on strongly to win by a short half head from Haussman, backed from $10 to $9, with three-quarters of a
length to the fast finishing Stardom, $14, third.
